I combined my passion for sailing and travel into a solo offshore racing career, competing in four solo around-the-world races and several transatlantic events. With sponsorships requiring numerous sailing days and speaking engagements, I transitioned to project managing campaigns for other sailors, assisting with yacht builds and training. As a confident public speaker, I now deliver technical talks to sailing audiences and motivational events for corporate teams, drawing parallels between offshore sailing and business challenges.

Sailor
Josh is a highly experienced British sailor who has competed in four solo round the world races, including a top ten finish in the famous non-stop Vendee Globe Race. He has skippered racing yachts on over 30 Trans-Atlantic crossings.
Starting from scratch he successfully created his own sailing projects, securing the required funding through sponsorships, corporate hospitality programmes and fund-raising events.
Josh also created and directed two around the world races for 40ft yachts which ran in 2008 and 2011 for which he secured the sponsors, funding, entries and host ports.
Project Manager
Since 2002, Josh has been a Project Manager/Coach/Consultant with many large offshore racing programmes for a truly eclectic range of global clients, working with boatyards around the world.
He has managed the construction or refits of more than 30 offshore racing and adventure yachts, usually followed by extensive offshore training with the owners.
Speaker
Throughout his career, Josh has been a confident, motivating and entertaining public speaker.
